Thesis Preliminary Research and Summation
Thesis ideas list ( what problems do I want to solve?):
Noise level
Air quality
AI security
CO2 ( rise of global warming)
Online privacy
Conversational platform
AI app/ products
Smart City ( semiconductor - not every place can become a smart city/ there is limitation of the accessibility on the land)
Photovoltaics
Alter Ego (wearable System - Extending the brand product)
Bloomiengine ( Smart plant - Extending the brand product)
Delivery system
Ocean + Plastic
Water (radiation/ fish)
Extreme weather
Ozone layer Depletion
Acid rain
Deforestation
Loss of biodiversity > sixth extinction - increasing due to human behaviors
As you can see the list above, I like to focus on the problems that actually affects human environments and technologies.
Research:
I wanted to create a smart house that has control over the natural disasters and provide small but infinite spaces to the users. However, the idea was found by the problems our generation is facing this days, but I wasn't sure if this idea/ problem is feasible and long-term value thesis are right choice to make. Due to that, I found this articles of explaining pros and cons of long - term value thesis.

This study helps me to questions and define the value of long-term thesis. Here are some examples:
Why think the future matters more than the present?
Will the future actually be big?
Do we have moral obligations to future generations?
Can we ACTUALLY influence the future?

This is a future of humanity institute I can find couple of the open sources data of researches under humanity.

- Global risks report 2018 by World Economic Forum
This is report includes the information that are accurate and reliable of global problems in diversity. This is a big data that opens up the all the interconnections of the problems that is happening in the world. Meaning, pretty much almost every problems we finds are connected and will show what is the primary cause of the chosen problems.

Affordable, sustainable, and relocation-able house has been rising since last couple years. Grimshaw is a architecture designer who designed "The Peak" for homeless people to help. The size of the house is only 32.5 square-meters and reached on the tiny house that are affordable. Even though the house is designed small, it still have all the needed that are required to live normal life.

"House in Mita" is designed by Horibe Associates. The house is 84.64 square-meters which is almost three times bigger than "The Peak" house. However, "The Peak" house is multiple floors and "House in Mita" only have one floor surface. The purpose of this house was to have crops of the plants and have the minimal style ( this is build in Japan, and Japanese people love minimal design in general) The house is very organic, natural, and simple to provide relaxing rather its public space or private space.

My initial idea for thesis was creating a smart house for the future generations. During research I found a designer who create a house that is responsive and changeable by the future technologies. The house is called "house vision" founded and curated by Kenya Hara. The House Vision is so close to the idea of mine. However, this designer wanted to create a space that is respond to everyday needs and to increase the blur line between virtual and the actual. Due to current technology system, there was limitation in architectural design. The space is only changeable in the areas that are chosen to be changeable by the designer.

Lights are important to live our life. Especially we can not live without our electricity lights anymore.

Stickbulb created a LED lights that is organic and natural, but perfect for modern aesthetic home. The light fixture is made out of wood salvaged from demolished buildings. Due to the design, the woods are saved, no harms are cause by creation process.
